Unwanted browser tool bars and plugins have always been headache for unaware users. Being in Computer service industry I have seen systems of users with more that five to six toolbars installed and these people have no idea from where these get installed. These toolbars like TheBabylon, Asktool, smiley toolbar etc. mess with work and of course browsing speed is also compromised. You have to uninstall each browser tool manually.
The solution to this problem is solved in upcoming version of Avast antivirus. Which offers dedicated tool to remote persistent toolbar from web browser from single utility. This utility called Avast Browser Cleaner is also available as standalone application that system engineers can run to rootout unwanted toolbars and plugins.
