Windows 10 battery saver feature enables you to conserve the battery of your laptop during the time when you are unable to charge it. There are basically two approaches to create battery saver shortcut in Windows 10 Operating System. You can use the way which is convenient for you.
To Create Battery Saver Shortcut Manually in Windows 10
Right click on the empty area of the desktop in Windows 10 laptop. Select New and then Shortcut from the context menu.
On the next window, fill the below given URI (Universal Resource Identifier) in the location field. Hit Next button.
Type the specified name (for instance type “Battery Saver”) and then hit the Finish button.
That’s it. The battery saver shortcut is created. As users always use specified and realistic icons for every shortcut, created in Windows PC, there is also an option to change the icon of battery saver shortcut. If you want to change the icon follow below given steps.
To Change the Icon of Battery Saver Shortcut
Right click on the Battery Saver shortcut which you have created. Select Properties from the context menu.
Click on “Change Icon” button under Shortcut tab.
Now type below given path and press Enter key.
You can see the icons, select the specified battery icon (or any of your choice) and click OK.
Click Apply and OK button on Battery saver properties window to implement the changes.
To Download Battery Saver Shortcut in Windows 10
Just download the zip folder containing Battery Saver shortcut by clicking on the download button, given below.
Extract the shortcut and place it on your desktop.
Now you can access Battery saver settings window quickly by using this shortcut.
Note: The second method works on majority of Windows 10 PC, but in some cases it doesn’t work. If you face any problem while accessing Battery Saver window using the second method, you can create Battery Saver shortcut manually by using first method.
