  1. I have followed the procedure described in “How to Create Folder Lock Using Notepad”. I copied and pasted the content of the .bat file. The folder “Secure” is created but does not lock. Every time I double click the .bat file I get the same message asking if I want to lock the folder. I have tried responding with both upper case Y and lower case y and pressing the Enter key. The message window disappears and an ew file is created above the .bat file labelled o with two dots over it. I have deleted the Secure file and the .bat file and followed the whole creation procedure again from the beginning, but with the same result. The Secure file does not lock. I have checked that the .bat file code is complete, as below:
    cls
    @ECHO OFF
    title Folder Secure
    if EXIST “Control Panel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}” goto UNLOCK
    if NOT EXIST Secure goto MDLOCKER
    :CONFIRM
    echo Are you sure you want to lock the folder(Y/N)
    set/p “cho=>”
    if %cho%==Y goto LOCK
    if %cho%==y goto LOCK
    if %cho%==n goto END
    if %cho%==N goto END
    echo Invalid choice.
    goto CONFIRM
    :LOCK
    ren Secure “Control Panel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}”
    attrib +h +s “Control Panel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}”
    echo Folder locked
    goto End
    :UNLOCK
    echo Enter the Password to unlock folder
    set/p “pass=>”
    if NOT %pass%== Digitalriser here goto FAIL
    attrib -h -s “Control Panel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}”
    ren “Control Panel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}” Secure
    echo Folder Unlocked successfully
    goto End
    :FAIL
    echo Invalid password
    goto end
    :MDLOCKER
    md Secure
    echo Secure created successfully
    goto End
    :End
