Windows 10 comes with dynamic features and is very productive than other legacy Windows. Although Windows 10 is much faster operating system yet auto startup of programs affects the speed of booting the system. To speed up the process of booting, it is recommended to disable the startup of programs.
While some of the programs like anti-virus and firewall need to enable auto startup due to security reasons, but rest of the programs should be disabled for auto startup. This will not cause you any efficiency problem.
How To Disable Startup Programs In Windows 10
Initially, right click on the Taskbar and select the Task Manager.
Then Task Manager window will appear. Click on the Startup tab and the list of programs will display on the window.
Right click on the program which you want to disable from auto startup and hit the disable option. You can also reverse the option whenever required.
You can even check the startup impact of each program. Some of the programs have medium impact and some have low impact on the speed of booting.
Apart from this, you can open the location of the file, search online and even check the Properties of the program by right click on the program.
It is recommended that whenever you install a new program, go to its option and set up not to run during startup. This will boost up the booting of your computer system.
