Increase the security of your Microsoft account by turning on two step verification. This feature adds extra layer of security along with your password to protect your Microsoft account.
Two factor verification protects your Microsoft account from unauthorized persons or hackers. After turning on this feature, you are asked for a security code while signing in to account. The security code is being sent to your mobile phone or alternative email address. Moreover, you can get code on Microsoft Authenticator app, using your smartphone.
Additional protection keeps your Microsoft account safe in case someone guesses your password and tries to login it. You can turn on or off two step verification option as per your need.
