Google releases the latest update 63.0.3239.86 for Chrome stable channel that addressed various bug fixes and security issues. The users who are using Chrome 63 version advised to update the browser to patch the vulnerabilities.
As per the report of US-CERT, the vulnerabilities could let attackers take full control of an affected system. This latest Google Chrome update addressed two security issues out of which, one is reported by an anonymous researcher and other is not disclosed yet. Google rewarded the researcher with $7500 for filing high severity vulnerability CVE-2017-15429.
Google has also patched various issues found during internal audits and fuzzing. The tools such as AddressSanitizer, UndefinedBehaviorSanitizer, MemorySanitizer, Control Flow Integrity and more are being used for finding the bugs in Google Chrome
To update Google Chrome, you just need to launch Google Chrome, access three-dot menu > Help > About Google Chrome. This will show you the current version of the browser and enable you to update Chrome to the latest version 63.0.3239.86 if not updated.
