Google Chrome has been updated to the version 62.0.3202.89 due to the vulnerabilities found in the previous version. As per the reports of US-CERT, the detected security vulnerabilities could lead to hand over the control of affected system in the hands of the attacker.

Qihoo 360 Vulcan Team and Ned Williamson reported the Chrome vulnerabilities CVE-2017-15398 and CVE-2017-15399 that are rated as critical and high severity.

Google doesn’t disclose bug information until majority of Chrome users update the Chrome browser as the attackers always keep an eye to exploit vulnerabilities and get the control of victims’ systems.

In order to patch Chrome vulnerabilities, you just need to launch Google Chrome, access three dot menu > Help > About Google Chrome. This will show you the current version of the browser and enable you to update Chrome to the latest version 62.0.3202.89 if not updated.
