After so many rumors, LG has officially announced the launch date of its LG V40 ThinQ in this October 3rd in New York. Last year, the company launched the LG V30S ThinQ which is rated as the best smartphone. Now the company offering 5 cameras in LG V40 ThinQ. A triple camera setup on the rear side and dual camera setup on the front side.
There are some companies who launched triple rear camera on the back or dual camera setup on front. On this March, Huawei launched its P20 pro with triple camera on the rear but the LG V40 ThinQ is the first smartphone which comes with triple camera on the back and dual camera on the front. You can capture 120-degree wide angle selfies with front dual camera setup.
According to some leaks, the triple camera setup on the rear features a 12 MP RGB sensor with f/1.5 aperture, 16 MP wide-angle sensor with f/1.9 aperture and a 12 MP telephoto sensor with f/2.4 aperture. These setup of sensors makes your photos more professional looking and detailed. On the front, there’s a dual camera setup features an 8 MP and 5 MP cameras.
The specifications of LG V40 ThinQ is 6.4-inch Full Vision AMOLED display with Quad HD+ resolution and 19:5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 coupled with Adreno 630 GPU and 6 GB of RAM. The LG V40 ThinQ comes with 64GB internal storage, the V40+ ThinQ comes with 128GB of internal storage.
For security, LG provides fingerprint sensors and face id unlock. Both devices are IP68 and MIL-STD 810G certified for water resistance and durability.
