The Chinese Smartphones maker, OPPO has launched the OPPO K3 Smartphone in India. This mid-range smartphone was launched in China in May 2019. It is started selling in the Indian market today via Amazon. The phone is available in two gradient color options- Aurora Blue and Jade Black.

The device comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 which is an octa-core processor with Adreno 616 GPU. It sports a 6.5-inch full HD AMOLED display + 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution with a screen-to-body-ratio of 91.1%.

For cameras, the device comes with a dual rear camera- 16MP primary camera with f/1.7 aperture and a 2MP depth-sensing camera with f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera includes the features- Ultra Night Mode 2.0 that is said to have built-in Image Stabilisation and also has Night-Scene Noise Reduction.

The front camera comes with a 16MP pop-up selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0 as well. Other features are – accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor.

Talking about the storage capacity, the OPPO K3 comes with 6/8GB RAM and 64/128GB built-in storage variants. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie-based Color OS6 on top. It measures 161.20 x 76.00 x 9.40mm and weighs 191.00 grams.

As far as connectivity features including 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and A-GPS and more. The earlier released variant in China, the OPPO K3’s was available at price tag 1,599 Yuan (Rs 16,000 approx) and available in Nebula Purple, Morning White, Farm Black colors options.

In India, the 6 GB +64 GB variant is available at price tag for Rs. 16,990 and the larger variant 8GB + 128GB storage is available at Rs. 19,999.
