You might have password protected folders and hard drive partitions but what if you want to password protect your EXE file so that no one else can access it. Empathy is a security program which can password protect windows programs and EXE files. It work by modifying any EXE file and adding the password module to it so that it asks for password every time it is executed. Even if you copy or move file to another location the security is not removed.
The protected files can be run on Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows 2003, and Windows Vista.
One strange thing with software is that if you want to register the software you have to send a postcard to the author with your email address and name on backside of the picture postcard. The unregistered version only allows you to have one letter password.
