Microsoft has released Advance Notification of upcoming April 2011 Patch Tuesday, according to which 17 security bulletins will be released which will further fix 64 vulnerabilities. The vulnerabilities affect Microsoft Windows, Internet explorer, Microsoft office, Visual studio, .NET Framework and GDI+. Nine bulletins are rated as Critical and rest are marked as Important.
Apart of this Microsoft will also release fix for MHTML vulnerability for which Security Advisory 2501696 was released in mid February 2011.
On the whole it’s going to be a huge Patch Tuesday and will require a lot of planning on system administrator’s part to deploy these security updates.
