To Synchronize Google Chrome Bookmarks with Android Phone
For the synchronization of Google Chrome bookmarks with Android device, you need to make changes in the settings of Google Chrome on both platforms. Do keep in mind, you will have to sign into Google Chrome on both devices (PC and Mobile Phone) using same Google account.
Enable Synchronization on Desktop or Laptop
Launch the Google Chrome browser on your PC and click on three dot menu. Now click on Settings option.
Now you can see the “Sync” option. You can tap on it to enable syncing feature of Google Chrome. This feature is enabled by default, but you need to check it if you ever disabled it.
After enabling syncing, you can notice, it is displaying “Sync everything”. It means every setting is being syncing. You can change the individual synchronization setting. Tap on the arrow displaying on the right side of Sync option.
Advanced sync settings will be opened. If you don’t want to sync everything then uncheck this option and choose the individual syncing options. Make sure, you select “Bookmarks” option for synchronization with Android phone.
Enable Synchronization on Android Phone
Now take your Android phone and launch Google Chrome. If you have signed in with the same Google account, everything will get synced by default, but there is a need to verify the sync settings.
Open the Settings of Google Chrome on Android device in the same manner, which you have used on desktop or laptop.
You can see your account name “Syncing to email address”. Click on the account and then hit “Sync” option.
Now make sure, the “Sync” option is enabled (toggled on). And under the “Data types”, you can see “Sync everything” option, enable it too.
