I found in the past that some newer updates do not include previous update content, perhaps it was because it was on insider fast receive.

The number of the latest KB is wrong, it should be «KB3081448» instead of «KB308148». One more bug — «Cumilative» instead of «Cumulative».

P.S. It will be great if you could share with us how do get the direct link to the offline installer, so we could use this approach for other products of MSFT as well?
There is already new CU for Windows 10 — KB3093266
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3093266
Hi Jack,
Microsoft has not provided standalone package of KB3093266 till now. As many users have raised issue for reboot loop while installing this update Microsoft may also have taken down the update before I could have a look at it. I shall provide it here as soon as links for direct download are live.

Thank you for all work Manpreet Rehsi, i have a question:
these updates are for all languages?
Hello Manpreet Singh Rehsi thank you for your site, con you ask to my question?
these updatese are for all the languages or english only?.
Hi Emily,
First sorry for replying so late. Yes, this update can be installed with any language pack. According to official statement of Microsoft “If you install a language pack after you install cumulative update, you must reinstall this update. Therefore, we recommend that you install any language packs that you need before you install this update.”

thanks
Blog post to Download for KB3116900 is up.
Hi
Each time I try to download it starts but “fails” at about 50% of file size. I have tried several downloads but they all “fail” at about the same time. Your comments would be appreciated. I am using Trend Micro. Could this be preventing the download finishing??
There might be some thing with your network connection. Try a download manager like DAP or Internet Download Manager.
Good day! I have downloaded the latest update here but when I try to install it, it says that the update is not applicable for my system. What should I do? I’m running on 64-bit environment by the way.
Hi,
I have double checked the download link it’s good. I have validated from Microsoft Server. Might me some issue with your windows installation. This update is applicable to windows 10 1511 version only
I have win 10 enterprise. I cant install this updates. ERROR – The update is not applicable to your computer. :-(
Oh and quick reminder : If you change the Windows Language, you’ll need to reinstall the update

Hi,
same problem here, it says that the Cumulative Update KB 3116900 is not applicable for my system. What should I do? I’m running windows 10 education 64-bit 1511 version …..

Hi jabshiko,
You need to have latest Windows 10 Version 1511 installed to install latest cumulative update.
Hi sir,
I have the latest Windows 10 Version 1511 installed in my dell laptop with same problem.it says that the Cumulative Update KB 3116900 is not applicable for my system.
Hi jabshiko,
Check you windows version with winver.exe command. The windows 10 version 1511 (OS build 10586.17) is for previous cumulative update, after installing KB 3116900 it must show OS Build 10586.29.
CAn i install only the last update or i need to install all updates one by one
Hi Ankit,
All the cumulative updates contains previous changes, so you need only latest update.
Hi Manpreet, good stuff! Same problem as Nate for me; says that the update is not applicable for my system, (10 Pro 64-bit). I’ve disabled auto updates in gpedit and windows update and unchecked ‘defer upgrades’, to give it a fair crack, as I am confident the file is OK. No luck, seems it’s a common problem. Previously it had started to download the 1511 from Windows Update, so I think my system is OK, but it was taking forever and I cancelled after 25% and restored from an image backup, to start afresh. Thanks anyway for the links.
Hi Pete Wills,
You need to have latest Windows 10 Version 1511 installed to install latest cumulative update.
Thanks, can’t believe I was so thick, haha.
Cheers, Manpreet.

Hi
I have checked my windows version, its windows 10 version 1511 (OS build 10586.14)
Hi Jabshiko,
Are you enrolled to Microsoft Insider program ? If yes, then with update will not be applicable as it is for stable version of Windows 10.
hello Manpreet Rehsi

the biggest problem now is to take those black bars on the sides of the game I try to play on windows 10 as need for speed underground 2 I got my intel video adapter current days, Intel HD Graphics 4000.I tried to go in the game display settings, and the maximum resolution of 1280 by 1024. Being in q win 10 I use 1920 by 1080, which is also the max resolution of my monitor Samsung SyncMaster LED S22B300.
Knows how to make that I can play at full screen the underground 2, as in windows 7?
It sucks play games with those black bars on the sides of the screen, preventing the gameplay to be in full screen.

Hi Tasneem,
.net framwork is embedded in windows 10 you can enable it with this simple process.
a) Press “Windows Logo” + “R” keys on the keyboard.
b) Type “appwiz.cpl” in the “Run” command box and press “ENTER”.
c) In the “Programs and Features” window, click on the link “Turn Windows features on or off”.
d) Check if the “.NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0)” option is available in it.
e) If yes, then enable it and then click on “OK”.

Hi Manpreet,
I downloaded the following:
Cumulative Update for Windows 10 / KB3081448 / 27.08.2015
Cumulative Update KB 3124200 / KB 3124200 / 17.12.2015

May I know if the files that I downloaded are enough to upgrade my 8.1 to 10? I’m not a computer savvy I hope you could guide me well. Hope for your reply soon. :)
Thank you
Hi Nivram,
You need to upgrade to Windows 10 version first to be able to use the cumulative updates as these are for Windows 10 only. You can upgrade your operating system via inbuild Windows Update feature or you can download an ISO file to do a clean install. Do take backup of your data before preforming an upgrade

Manpreet Singh Rehsi
