Xiaomi has become the highest budget smartphone selling company in India who provides top-line specifications smartphone with affordable prices. After the success of Redmi 4A, the company is ready to launch their new Redmi 5A in India on November 30. Last month Redmi 5A was launched in China. The specifications of Indian variant Redmi 5A are mostly same as Chinese variant.
Hopefully, the company will launch Redmi 5A with affordable pricing. The body design of Redmi 5A is similar to Redmi 4A. The latest Redmi smartphone model is made up of Polycarbonate and comes with rounded corners with a refreshed look.
The smartphone comes with 5-inch Full HD display with 16:9 aspect ratio. Redmi 5A is powered by Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor. The proper detail of smartphone is not published yet but in China, it came only in 2GB RAM with 16 GB of internal storage which can be expandable up to 128 GB via Micro SD card.
Redmi 5A will be backed by 3,000 mAh battery with 5V power adapter. In camera, the company offers a 13 MP rear camera, a f/2.2 aperture with LED flashlight and 5 MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture. Last month Xiaomi released MIUI 9, so we can expect that Redmi 5A comes up with MIUI 9 based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
In Connectivity company provides dual 4G VoLTE SIM slots, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, A-GPS, 3.5 mm audio jack and 2.0 micro USB port. Xiaomi removed the fingerprint sensor in Redmi 5A. The price of Redmi 5A in China is 599 Yuan (approx. $90/Rs 5,900) which is an affordable price. The final price of Redmi 5A in India will be announced on November 30.
